Three people died were killed, including a 10-year-old boy, and at least 14 were injured when an express bus they were travelling in crashed at the 107.2 km mark of the North-South Expressway in Malaysia on Sunday (January 19). The bus was carrying 17 passengers and traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Johor when the driver of the bus reportedly lost control of the vehicle at around 2:00 p.m., according to The Star Online.The bus crashed into the side railing and ended up next to the expressway. A number of foreigners were also on board. The Star Online reported that a passenger from the Philippines named Ruby, 27, said she was sleeping when she was awoken by loud noises. "It was chaotic, people and things everywhere and I was lucky that I fell out off the bus through the broken side window when it skidded, otherwise worse could have happened," she told The Star Online.
