NO TROUBLE IS PERMANENT - Pastor Paul Silway Don't make your problem or troubles your god and start to bow down to it and believe it. I want to talk to you today about Trouble Is Temporary. Sin is the source of mankind's problems, not God. He came to free us from troubles. To believe in Jesus means to be free from sin bondage. Sin is a lie, a deception that is a trap of the devil to bind us. If you want a breakthrough in your life you will have to live with the new mentality that says - NO TROUBLE IS PERMANENT. Only God is permanent, don't give that position to your problem. We all face difficulties that don't look like they'll ever change, it seems like the more we pray the worse it gets. We don't see any sign of things improving. It's easy to live discouraged and accept that it's not meant to be. But Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4:17-18, "Our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Soon it's going to be over. Soon you're going to see the breakthrough. Soon your health is going to turn around. Soon you're going to meet the person of your dreams. Soon you're going to break that addiction. All your troubles are temporary so never look at your problems as permanent. Develop a mentality that says, I am coming out of every problem. Do you know that when you look at your problems as permanent the temporary becomes permanent. This means you are putting your faith in your problems and not on Jesus as your solution. Faith in your problem will make it permanent. We tend to hold our problems by faith, our faith in our problems keeps gaining strength to strength till we are drowned. Let me give you the KEY - Think this way, sooner or later everything will pass away, it's not come to stay. You may not see how this can happen, everything in your reasoning says "It's not possible". You're looking at it in the natural world - we serve a supernatural God. He can make things happen that you can't make happen. Instead of thinking of all the reasons why it's not going to work out, how it's going to take forever, try a different approach "Father, thank you that this difficulty will soon be over. Thank you that this sickness, the depression, the family problem will not last very long". "Well, Pastor Paul, it's already been a long time" - that means you are very close to seeing it turn around. You're on the verge of a breakthrough, you're about to see freedom, promotion, problems suddenly resolve, dreams suddenly come to pass. Quickly get in agreement with God and have a soon mentality, a mentality that says no difficulty is come to live lifelong. I resist this thought in Jesus' name. So thank You Lord Jesus I am coming out from every trouble and entering into God's best for God loves me very much and He doesn't want me to suffer for He is for me not against me.
