1965 Chevrolet Corvette C2 Stingray Race Car stretches its legs at Monza Circuit!

I recorded this clean and interesting Corvette C2 race car last March during the annual track day organized by kunoschaer.ch at Autodromo Nazionale Monza, an event usually opened to both modern and historic race cars and road cars too. I couldn't find much about this wonderful machine but its most famous racing appearance seems to have been at the 1999 Goodwood Revival driven by Jochen Mass in the RAC TT Celebration race. The car should have also won twice the German historic championship back in the early '90s. Featuring the blu, white and red Le Mans 1967 livery of the Corvette C2 L-88 this Stingray is instead powered by a Chevrolet 327-cubic-inch (5.4-litre) small-block V8 engine by Traco and now able to produce near 500hp.
