Lego Star Wars 327th Star Corps Clone Trooper Battle Pack! (Can I Justify The Price?)

Today we are building the new Lego Star Wars 327th Star Corps Clone Troopers Battle Pack set #75431, with 258 pieces. This set retails for $44.99 in the US. We begin by talking about \how this is the most expensive Battle Pack set, and how that is a big deal. After a deep dive about value, we then go over and look at the box and collect assumptions about what is to come from building this set. Unboxing the set we find 3 bags, medium sized sticker sheet, and two instruction booklets. Building this set was fun, as its always cool to build fresh Battle Packs. Reviewing the set we go over the minifigures of the 3 Super Battle Droids, and the 4 327th Star Corps Clone Troopers. We then take a look at a rather trading stud shooter and Spider Droid. Lastly we examine the Walker as our last hope to rationalize the high price of this set. At the end I claim that the Spider Droid and Super Battle Droid is to the equivalent of a $5 polybag, and the Walker, 3 Troopers, and two Battle Droid is the equivalent of an original $20 Battle Pack. Thus this set is at least $15 over priced. With that, I can not with a clean conscience recommend this set day one. I do like this Battle Pack, but the Star Wars tax nips it in the bum. This set will join the other day 1 overpriced sets in my collection.I really enjoyed creating this video for you all.
