The Essence Series comprises of a gist or summary of The Holy Quran presented using 4k Visualisation Videos. Surah Yousuf was revealed during the last stage of the Prophet (s.a.w.s)'s stay at Makkah. The Jews instigated the unbelievers to test the Prophet (s.a.w.s) by asking him : " Why did the Israelites go to Egypt?". The history of the Israelites was not known to the Arabs, and the Prophet (s.a.w.s) had no means of knowing their traditions. Therefore they thought that the Prophet would not be able to give a satisfactory answer and would be exposed. But, contrary to their expectations, the tables were turned on them when Allah revealed the whole story of the Prophet Yousuf (Joseph) then and there. This ruined the schemes of the Quraish and gave a strong warning to them through the example of the brothers of Yousuf (a.s).
