Mark Mulder repeats as ACC Champion. A birdie binge early set stage
Record setting crowds, spectacular weather, fast greens and and ever improving field of celebrities made for a sensational tournament if a dramatic one. The repeat champion erased a 5 point deficit in the final round of both victories...Sunday it was 5 birdies on holes 5 thru 9 that created an insurmountable lead, that the leaders could not contend with. Mulder leaked a little oil trying to close the show, but his early heroics sealed the deal.
