Deep brain stimulation (DBS) is a surgical procedure used to treat several disabling neurological symptoms. Most commonly used for debilitating motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease (PD), the treatment can help tremor, rigidity, stiffness, slowed movement and walking problems.
