A Tribute to My Amazing Mother - Well Done Good and Faithful Servant

Dear and wonderful art family, I've been a bit at a loss for words in sharing this news, but I wanted to let others know why I've been a bit missing in action lately. My mother, June Moss, passed away somewhat unexpectedly a couple of weeks ago. While she has had some health concerns over the past few years, none of us expected the stroke she recently experienced. The Lord was merciful in giving us an extra and BEAUTIFUL week with my mom. She was coherent, purposeful and got to see all of her grandchildren prior to passing away in a pain-free way. Some of you may know that my husband and I have been taking care of my mother-in-law who is living with us now under hospice care due to terminal cancer. Never did I think my own mother would pass first. My husband is now caring for his mother at our home and I am now with my dad (3 hours from home) helping him to heal and visa versa. So I'm just sharing because I know many of you know personally of this loss and we have such a beautiful group of individuals who not only share in each other's art, but who are so beautifully kind and loving in spirit. I'm picking up the pieces and trying to paint at my dad's home. I know you will all carry-on like you so beautifully do and I am so grateful for each and every one of you and the beautiful artistic connection we share.
