Homepage of BasscoverPete https://basscoverpete.com/ The ‘secret’ of this song is that the 16th notes are being played with a ‘triplet’ feel. Just to make sure: You don’t play this triplet feel on the 8th notes. Usually a triplet feel in a song is played by giving these 8th notes the triplet feel, but in this song only the 16th notes are being played with that feel. You can hear this approach the best in the Choruses. Listen for instance at the first Chorus bars 13-14 and 16. But also in the 2nd and 3rd Chorus these 16th notes are being played very well by Tommy Cogbill. Enjoy this famous song!!
