Dennis DeYoung the former lead singer of Styx performing Come Sail Away which was the 17th song and final song of the night at the Bergen Pac Center in Englewood, N.J. on July 10th, 2014. He on this tour is performing all the hits from Styx from the early 70s and very early 80's. It was an Amazing show. He was and will always be the voice of Styx.. In 2010, DeYoung formed a new rock band dedicated to the music of Styx, featuring new members guitarist and lead vocalist August Zadra and bassist-vocalist Craig Carter. They joined with John Blasucci, Jimmy Leahey, Tom Sharpe and Suzanne DeYoung in performing Styx hits including "Renegade", "Blue Collar Man" and others as well as DeYoung's solo works Here is the shorty how he found August Zadra who sounds like Tommy Shaw and as well plays a bit better as well This is quoted by Dennis DeYoung himself.... Late one night my son woke me at 12:30 at night and told me to go down to the computer and check out something he found on youtube. There was August Zadra singing Blue Collar Man in a Styx tribute band, "Mother Of Pearl" are you kidding me. I knew then and there it was time for action. Needless to say my son Matthew is still in the will and may be receiving a slightly higher amount then my daughter CarrieAnn. (Not really). August was so good at recreating a sound that both you and I have come to love that I knew I must give this thing a shot. And what a shot it has been to me personally. Even though Styx still tours and performs with other people to me that is not Styx even though some original members remain in the band.
