With the Thunder down big in the fourth quarter of the contest, Oklahoma City was understandably getting more and more upset, as the Thunder just can’t seem to get their rhythm in this game. During one sequence in the final period, however, it was a Jazz player in Jae Crowder who seemed to have lost his temper as he was thrown out of the game after a brief skirmish with Thunder player Carmelo Anthony and Steven Adams. It all started when Russell Westbrook stopped Crowder during a potential Jazz transition breakout with a duty foul, which Crowder did not seem to like. Crowder would then be confronted by Anthony and as players gravitate towards the scene, the Jazz forward inadvertently hit Adams in the face. Jae Crowder exited the contest with six points and seven rebounds to go with three steals and three assists in 28 minutes of action off the bench. Crowder’s absence did not matter for the Jazz, though, as they still won the game, 113-96, to move up 3-1 in the series.
