The work of the committee to draft the Common Civil Code in Uttarakhand has been completed. After the drafting of the Common Civil Code, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Delhi for the first time. During the tour, he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the meeting, several issues of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami including Uniform Civil Code were discussed. The Narendra Modi government at the Center wants to implement one law in the entire country. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami presented a momento of Baba Nib Karori and rice from Uttarakhand to PM Modi. Chief Minister Dhami termed the meeting with PM Modi as meaningful. He said that PM Modi has assured to provide assistance to the affected people in Joshimath. During the meeting, PM Modi was informed about the Char Dham Yatra.
