Magnetic Hill , Gravity Force, Optical Illusion And It's Mystery In Tamil . Magnetic Hill is a mountain range in Leh in the Indian state of Kashmir, located on the highway to Leh. It is believed that the passing vehicles are pulling in the direction of that hill. Hence the name Magnetic Hill. Magnetic Hill is located on the National Highway between Ile and Ladakh in the state of Kashmir. It is located at an elevation of 11,000 ft above sea level. There is a notice board about this mountain at a certain point on the National Highway between Leh and Ladakh and the road near it is marked. Normally on a mountain road, the carriages move towards the downhill area but the carriage travels in the direction of the magnetic field automatically up to 10 km to 20 km depending on the weight of the vehicle. Travelers on the highway from Leh to Ladakh point out that this is a special feature of that Hills.
