For this week's cover, Lord Vader switched his full kit with the MPS-10 sampler pad, since the main groove of song SINGLE LADIES (PUT A RING ON IT) by BEYONCÉ basically consists of a kick drum, a snare drum and some sampled hand claps. Because of that, it's not a typical song to cover on drums, but transferring the beat to a sampler pad and playing it live on there can actually be tons of fun. It's really nice to try something different once in a while, and that's where that drum pad comes in handy for me. The song itself was released as a single for Beyoncé's album I AM... SASHA FIERCE back in 2008. It reached number 1 of the Billboard Hot 100 and won no less than three grammy awards.
