Delay in Trial for Ex-Cops in George Floyd Killing

Yodit Tewolde talks to Olayemi Olurin, staff attorney at Legal Aid Society of NY, on the trial of the three ex-police officers involved in George Floyd’s death being delayed until March 2022. Olurin says that it’s beneficial for the three officers, Thomas Lane, J. Kueng and Tou Thao, that the trial is delayed because they’re currently out of jail and a federal trial could take years to happen.
