SR51 closed for some time due to unresponsive driver: DPS

State Route 51 was closed near Downtown Phoenix for some time on Aug. 30, due to a situation that, according to DPS officials, involved an unresponsive driver in possession of a weapon described as an 'AK-style pistol.' The freeway was closed in both directions for some time out of an abundance of caution, according to DPS. No injuries were reported as a result of what happened. FOX 10's Lauren Clark reports.
