Chi Square Test Independence of Attributes | Quantitative Methods for Management | SNS Institutions

A chi-square test for independence is a statistical method used to determine if there is a significant relationship between two categorical variables by comparing the observed frequencies in a contingency table to the frequencies that would be expected if the variables were independent. This test is applied to assess whether an association between two attributes is statistically significant or if any observed differences are likely due to chance. The null hypothesis states that the two variables are independent, while the alternative hypothesis states there is a relationship between them.
