However, it is also one of Minecraft’s most popular mods, and it be completely transform the look of Minecraft taking it to the next level. There are few different ways to improve performance with shaders. The first is simply by changing your settings. The two shaders mods you could be using are Iris Shaders with Sodium or OptiFine. Generally, the lower you can set graphics settings while keep things playable the better. This means lowering you render distance, turning on any performance settings, and making sure to limit graphics settings as much as possible. We can also go into our shader settings. These will be different for every single shader pack, but many shader packs will have performance presets that will force them to have decreased lag and higher FPS by just making this simple change. Outside of changing settings, you can also use performance modpacks. For example, our modpack NotiFine has tons of performance improvements built in, and it actually provide 100+FPS with shaders on computers that have never been able to use shaders especially when paired with some of the improvements and changes listed above. Lastly, there are some shader packs that are better for performance than others. For example, Make Up Ultrafast Shaders is designed to be a performance shader pack and increase FPS when compared to other shader packs. With that, you should now have a lot more FPS with shaders.
