From Me To You The Beatles Drum Cover 1962 Ringo Starr Premier Set!!

New edit here.    • From me to you The Beatles RE-EDIT Drum Co...   Following on from my Twist and Shout drum cover I went back down to see Aaron at Plump Hill studios to see what the sound of this old Premier Set would be like with Calf Skins on. I managed to get an old calf skin for the 12x8 and one for the 16x15 (although not used). Plastic 1960s Premier Everplays on the snare and bass. Again just one mic used overhead this time. Neumann U87. I'm pretty sure the set up is now almost identical to Ringo's in early 1963. Premier 1962 in Mahogany Duroplastic 20x14 Bass drum, 12x8tom 16x15floor tom,14x4 Royal Ace snare. 15" Super Zyn Hi Hats, 20" Ajax Crash, 18 Super Zyn Ride Cymbal. Definitely feeling that Ringo had calf skins on the toms and bass drum. No so sure about the snare yet! Used original hardware as well. Premier 250 bass drum pedal and flush based Hi Hat and cymbal stands! Hope you enjoy. Gordon Elsmore. PS I have redited this to with just the sound from the mic.
