I don't know where Thirteenth Colony Distilleries came from so quickly, but I have heard a ton about them. I was able to find a bottle of their Southern Bourbon Whiskey. It's time to find out why people are talking about them! Thirteenth Colony Distilleries get their name from the state they distill in - Georgia. The 13th colony of the United States. 'Merica They opened in 2009, which oddly makes them the oldest operating distillery since Prohibition in the state. I am definitely pumped to be trying some juice from a newer distillery!
