Senior Congress leader and former Minister Suresh Routray on Sunday stirred a hornet’s nest stating that all senior leaders of the Congress have lost winning sheen and PCC president Parasad Harichandan must not be held responsible for dismal performance in the recently concluded rural polls in Odisha. “All senior leaders are Haru party (defeating figures). All are responsible for party’s dismal performance in the panchayat polls. Prasad can’t be blamed for the defeats,” said former Excise Minister. He again said that all Congress leaders have turned pathar (hard) and those rasin (light) are flying in the sky. He said the Congress doesn’t want those who don ‘t go by its ideology. “If you want, you leave the party. Don’t create disturbance in the party,” he said giving an indication to some trouble makers of the party. Routray said senior leaders like Niranjan, Bhakta, Jayadev and Biswal brothers had taken tickets on their own interest.
