Adhir Ranjan has been appointed as the new president of West Bengal Congress, it has been officially announced by the Congress on Wednesday. Recently, the post was vacant due to the death of West Bengal PCC President Somen Mitra. Chaudhary, the leader of the Congress in the Lok Sabha, has been the President of the West Bengal PCC from February 2014 to September 2018.
