God of War Ragnarök - Full Game Playthrough - Chapter 4: Groa's Secret - HD - No Commentary In this playthrough of God of War Ragnarök, we have just arrived in the realm of the elves (Alfheim) and our mission is to visit the inner temples near the Light of Alfheim so we can investigate an old mural left behind by the giant Groa. If we can make it to this mural, there is a good chance Atreus can use his ancestral magic to access an inner chamber hidden inside the mural. As Kratos, Atreus, Mimir, and Tyr make their way into Alfheim they have many discussions about the nature of the ongoing war between dark elves and light elves. During Kratos's last visit to Alfheim, they killed the dark elf king in self defense and tipped the favor back to the light elves, who now currently dominate the realm despite their still being ongoing war persistently. It really makes the player wonder how frequently the elf kingdom reproduces in order to supply souls for never ending war. Alfheim must certainly be immeasurably larger than our protagonists every explore. After many interruptions from light elves and dark elves, our party discovers the mural they were seeking and learn that there is an aspect to prophecy that Odin was never privy to, and that is that Odin loses and Asgard is destroyed. The giants were clever to hide part of their prophecy from the public, presumably to provide themselves with an edge come Ragnarok. Tyr, a severely tortured god of war who has turned pacifist, is not impressed with the prophecy, and is equally turned off by the prospect of a Ragnarok, and even more his having any part of it. On the way back to the mystic gateway he parts way from Kratos, Atreus, and Mimir; determined to have no more part in violence and war that his rescuing party attracted wherever they went. Before joining Tyr and heading back to Sindri's, Kratos and Atreus are determined to investigate a beast that Atreus has perceived to be hurting within the realm. Kratos know that whatever lurks around the corner, may provide Atreus with the perfect opportunity to practice his new bestiary powers.
