German and Spanish fans react as Spain reach finals after 1-0 win

Wide of Durban stadium STORYLINE: Delighted Spanish fans were out in force in Durban on Wednesday evening as they celebrated their country's 1-0 victory over the German national team. In the second World Cup semi-final match the Spanish team scored in 73rd minute, and went on to win a game which it dominated from the opening whistle. Scores of Spanish fans turned out in Durban to support their national team. German fans, on the other hand, left the stadium in sombre moods as dreams of the country's young team reaching the finals of the World Cup crashed. Spain will go on to play the Netherlands in the finals on Sunday at Johannesburg's Soccer City stadium. Germany will face Uruguay in a third-place play-off on Saturday.
