The penultimate film in Paul Naschy's Waldemar Daninsky wolf man films, this being the "11th" film in the series. However, Naschy takes the series in a different direction with this film. Instead of gothic horror fantasy elements, he went for a more grounded approach. This received a generally negative reaction from fans. In my opinion, I think it's worth checking out if you follow Naschy's work. This is a much more mature take on Daninsky's curse, grounding itself in morality and larger political themes close to Naschy. It's slower and tamer compared to "The Beast and the Magic Sword".
