The Crazy Cost of a Baptism in the American Church!

If you took the amount of money spent by churches and divided it by the number of baptisms...what would the cost per baptism be? The number has been calculated and it will most likely surprise you! How are we going reach the lost if we are using approaches that don't get us there? We have to look at new approaches and invest ourselves in new ways of operating that are more efficient. As you know the actual cost of a baptism is $0. It doesn't cost us anything to study with someone and baptize them. We may need to stop relying on corporate structures to do the job each of us was called to do.
