Neighborhood Leadership Academy 2021

The 2021 program started on on Tuesday, September 14, and continued every Tuesday evening for 10 weeks. Sessions were held both virtually and in-person at various locations. Activities included tours of City facilities, active demonstrations, hands-on sessions and multi-media presentations. The goal of the academy is to engage residents and ensure they are well informed when it comes to the inner workings of the City so that as neighborhood leaders, they can share this knowledge with their respective neighborhoods. Additionally, participants had opportunities to ask questions and share ideas with City staff and best practices with one another during the course of the program.
