Russia to broker nationwide ceasefire in Syria

Syrian rebels have reportedly fired on government forces along an evacuation route in Aleppo. The Syrian government says it has suspended efforts to evacuate civilians from rebel-held parts of Aleppo in response. Prior to the halt of evacuation efforts, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Moscow would help broker a nationwide ceasefire in Syria.
