Florida House Passes 15-Week Abortion Ban

Republicans in the Florida House of Representatives approved a ban on abortions after 15 weeks. This follows the blueprint of the Mississippi law currently before the Supreme Court and models other GOP-led legislatures moving to tighten access to abortion. The Florida bill, which passed along party lines and makes no exceptions for rape or incest, now heads to the State Senate.
