Two Women Rob a Central El Paso Store

Javier Sambrano @ (915)212-4055 Two Women Rob a Central El Paso Store EL PASO, TEXAS – Two women turned a theft into a robbery at a Central El Paso business. The pair was recorded by security video, and the Detectives from the El Paso Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying these robbers, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of the Week.” On the evening of Monday, August 20th, 2018, at 7:20p.m., two women walked into the “Family Dollar” store located at 1820 Alabama. One of the women began to grab several items while walking through different isles of the store. One of the employees then noticed that the woman at one point was no longer was holding any items and asked the woman about the items. The woman advised she had placed the merchandise on a different section of the store. The employee was unable to locate the items and once again asked the woman at which time the woman knocked down a store display and threatened to stab the employee. The woman then walked out of the store and the other woman followed. As the other woman exited the loss prevention alarm went off indicating that the second suspect had the merchandize that the first suspect had been carrying. Both suspect fled the scene in a 90’s model Chevrolet Pickup truck. The first woman is described as White, 5’6” in height, in her early to middle 40`s, with a heavy build, light complexion, light brown hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a black shirt with the logo of the band “Slip Knot,” and black pants. The second woman is described as Hispanic, in her middle to late 30`s, 5`06” in height, also with a heavy build, medium complexion, black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a camouflaged tank-top and blue shorts.
