Reworked Classic Mode for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate made by BiIvaMunner. If I have known that Palutena has Uprising references, I would have played this route sooner. BilvaMunner notes about this route: Bonus Game music: Lightning Chariot Base Palutena has gotten a brand new route. The theme is similar to the original, having characters who have defeated gods or god-level entities in their home series. Additionally, Pit is an ally in every battle, referencing Pit protecting her and Skyworld in Kid Icarus Uprising. Round 1 You and Pit fight Shulk on Gaur Plains. Round 2 You and Pit fight Cloud on Midgar. Round 3 You and Pit fight giant Sonic on Lylat Cruise. The choice of stage references the final boss of many Sonic games taking place in space. Round 4 You and Pit fight Ganondorf on Reset Bomb Forest’s Omega variant. Round 5 You and Pit fight giant Bayonetta on Umbra Clock Tower. Round 6 You and Pit fight giant Kirby on Fountain of Dreams. Kirby being chosen for the final non-boss round is due to him being the most powerful. This is shown with World of Light, where Kirby survives an attack that directly takes out Pit, Palutena, and everyone else in this route (alongside the rest of the roster).
