Using I-IoT + AR + QMS to Improve Quality

Many companies have deployed a Quality Management System (QMS) to collect data and implement processes for improvement. These systems provide an abundance of capabilities around data capture, statistical process control, and much more. But we have found that companies are most successful at reducing quality when these systems are augmented with additional capabilities that can be found in certain Industry 4.0 systems. Augmented Reality (AR) systems can be used to share hands-free work instructions, perform inspections in entirely new ways, and to error-proof many different processes. Industrial Internet of Things (I-IoT) systems can augment the traditional data found in quality systems with additional sensor data, information from the machine controllers and much more.
