Adventure Travel | This Was NOT What We Expected

Our adventure travel plans didn't exactly go the way we expected, but sometimes that's what makes a road trip memorable. We're Jason and Beth, traveling in two very different vans and discovering what happens when we stop worrying about the perfect plan and simply see where the adventure takes us. In this episode of Grit & Glam Adventures, we leave our campsite and head out across some seriously rough backroads in search of a waterfall. After a long drive, we discover we've actually ended up at the wrong waterfall — and we're definitely not dressed for what we find. But instead of turning around, we change clothes and go exploring. What follows is a day of unexpected discoveries, beautiful waterfalls, remote places, rough roads and eventually a peaceful creekside campsite where we settle in for the night. A thunderstorm rolls through before giving way to sunshine and a relaxing evening beside the water. It wasn't the adventure we planned, but sometimes the unexpected turns out to be even better.
