Kessler, your contact, is a member of a German resistance group called the Kreisau Circle. Meet Kessler in the village near the archaeological dig site. He will have further information regarding your mission. Remember: If you or Agent One are captured, escape at all costs. Standing Order #71 remains in effect: If you are placed in a compromising position where you might divulge information regarding your mission or the OSA, take your own life by ingesting your cyanide tablet. As always, the OSA will disavow any knowledge of your identity and mission if you are compromised. Good luck. MISSION OBJECTIVES: Escape the dungeon by any means necessary Locate the exit to the lower keep Secrets There is a total of 7 secrets on this level. At the bottom of the spiral staircase, across from the door is a wooden piece with a "Munitions" sign on it. Break it for 8~16 7.92mm rounds. (Depend on the difficulty you play) Unlock the door next to this secret will lead you back to the radio room, where you obtain your first MP 40. Out of the staircase in the lower area, in the dormitory. The secret is hidden under the floor between the 2nd and 3rd bed, kick the floor to get a treasure item. In the map room, destroy the map to gain yourself another 2 treasure items. Where the two guards destroy the floor, drop down and turn to face a bricked-up doorway. Break it and then you can loot the room, including a cupboard with grenades and a hot meal. Delicious. In the left-hand room which the officer tries to get to, shoot the portrait of Hitler to reveal another secret. In the right hand room, activate the unlit candles and get yourself another secret, 3 treasure items can be found inside. In the final corridor of the game (excepting the exit), there is a stone slab that you can activate to open a door next to it. Opening this door will lead to an occult altar with a silver chalice, which is another treasure item. Walkthrough Trivia A Kilroy was here can be seen on the wall of the cell B.J. is in. It would seem to indicate he was stuck in the cell for 7 days. The German sergeant who comes to BJ's cell is wearing the uniform of a soldier in the Heer (Army), but his helmet bears the insignia of the Waffen-SS. The escape from the cell mirrors Episode 1, Floor 1 of the classic Wolfenstein 3D game, which begins with B.J. overpowering his guard and grabbing his pistol in order to escape from the dreaded Castle Wolfenstein. Using some stealth and trickery, it is possible to begin the level by silently killing ten enemies using only the Knife, and without causing a single alert. After that, however, it is scripted that the player's presence is betrayed. Operation: Resurrection version of this level is heavily changed, for example, being divided in two parts, having new objectives, and first part being extended version of escape from the prison dungeon sequence with big design changes. Most RTCW levels are inspired by media like books or movies. For Escape!, it is Gene Wilder's "Young Frankenstein" from 1974.
