Was Yesterday is the ninth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered. The player controls Gary "Roach" Sanderson. The objective of the mission is to eliminate hostiles and rescue three rooms full of hostages on an oil rig being used as a SAM site in order to allow Task Force 141 to infiltrate The Gulag and extract Prisoner 627. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the sixth main Call of Duty game, and the fourth developed by Infinity Ward. It is the direct sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, continuing along the same storyline and gameplay. On January 13, 2010, Activision reported that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 had crossed $1 billion in retail sales. On August 28, 2018, the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was made backwards compatible on the Xbox One. On March 31, 2020, a remastered version of the single-player campaign was released on the PlayStation 4. Xbox One and PC versions of the game were made available on April 30, 2020.
