New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe Boom Boom Voice Clips

All of Boom Boom's voice clips from New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, provided by Sho Murata and reused from Super Mario 3D Land and the original New Super Mario Bros. U. Boom Boom reprises his role as a miniboss from the original Wii U version, where his attack strategy remains the same as per usual for his 2D appearances: he charges towards the player while swinging his fists and must be defeated by jumping on his head. If you've played Super Mario Bros. 3 or any of its variants, you'd know how to deal with him in this game. Boom Boom's appearance in the NSMB series is identical to his design from 3D Land except with the addition of spikes on his shell, which would be retained for his appearances in games like Super Mario Run and the Mario and Sonic series. Overall, while Boom Boom is a very generic Mario villain, there are definitely far worse characters in the franchise overall, especially from the time period this game originally came out (looking at you, Kersti from Sticker Star!), and his presence does add a bit of challenge to the game, for what it's worth!
