वक्फ कानून के विरोध में जब मुर्शिदाबाद जला तो कलकत्ता हाईकोर्ट के आदेश पर BSF की तैनाती हुई। आज इसी हिंसा का जिक्र सुप्रीम कोर्ट में भी हुआ । वक्फ कानून को लेकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट आज करीब 2 घंटे की सुनवाई हुई । इसी दौरान चीफ जस्टिस ने दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट पर वक्फ के दावे और बंगाल हिंसा का जिक्र किया. आज केंद्र सरकार के वक्फ संशोधन कानून के खिलाफ सुप्रीम कोर्ट में करीब दो घंटे की सुनवाई हुई । CJI संजीव खन्ना, जस्टिस पीवी संजय कुमार और जस्टिस केवी विश्वनाथन की बेंच ने मामले की सुनवाई की. इस मामले में केंद्र सरकार की ओर से सॉलिसिटर जनरल तुषार मेहता ने पैरवी की । इस कानून के खिलाफ कपिल सिब्बल, राजीव धवन, अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी दलील दी । DNA with Rahul Sinha: Supreme Court flags key aspects of Waqf law When Murshidabad burned in protest against the Waqf law, BSF was deployed on the orders of the Calcutta High Court.
