New crew - Sailing Eva [068]

In La Rochelle I have to say goodbye to Jord and Felia. After a few weeks of sailing along the French coast with my family, the time has come for me to move on with crew. But first, Eva is in La Rochelle for almost two more weeks, where I edit a few videos and create subtitles for videos. It's a lot of work and that goes smoothly when you don't have anything else to do. Then Patrick and Simone embark. Peter drove them to La Rochelle. Together we do the last chores before the trip across the big, bad Bay of Biscay. For years I have dreamed of sailing wherever the wind takes me. In 2020, the time had finally come and Felia and I made a wonderful trip to Scandinavia and the Baltic States. Our Eva, a 2007 Atlantic 43, is an aluminum sailing yacht with lifting keel and built and equipped for trips to places just beyond the horizon. Starting in 2021, I will be sailing south with alternating crews. I enjoy sharing our adventures with you. I do that both via YouTube, as well as other social media and of course our website.
