The Barn At Upcote Wedding Photographer (T&L)

It was such a beautiful Autumn day October 5th 2019 and it was the day Tom and Liz got married! The wedding ceremony took place at St Peters RC Church Cirencester and wedding celebrations continued at the Barn at Upcote. Bridal preparations took place at Liz’s family home nr Cirencester, Liz spent the morning preparing with her Bridesmaids. It was a lovely chilled morning with lots of chatter, giggles and anticipation for the wedding. Once the hair and make up was beautifully styled it was time for Liz to step into her gorgeous dress, bridesmaids were great with assisting and even had a glass of fizz waiting once Liz was ready! Tom and the groomsmen were busy greeting guests as they arrived to the church, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as friends and family took to their seats and awaited the arrival of the bride. The bridesmaids led the way down the aisle for the Bride, who followed with her dad by her side. Happy tears flowed as Liz made her way towards the alter, as soon as the bride and groom saw each other big beaming smiles appeared. The ceremony was lovely and wonderful to witness, the Vicar was absolutely charming and made the ceremony rememberable – especially when he dropped the rings! Prayers and readings were given by friends and wedding rings were exchanged. The register was signed, a kiss was shared and the newlyweds walked up the aisle as Husband and Wife! Confetti was thrown as the newlyweds left the church and then lots of hugs, kisses and congratulations were shared. The Barn at Upcote is a gorgeous stone barn situated near Cheltenham with beautiful scenery all around, as you arrive and drive along the track to reach the barn there is nothing but Cotswold views, a wonderful setting for a wedding. Luckily the weather was great for an Autumn wedding and guests could enjoy the drink reception on the lawn. While the guests enjoyed a glass of bubbles the newlyweds went for a little walk for their bride and groom portraits and a few family photos too. The Barn for the wedding breakfast was dressed with beautiful jars of flowers and candles on each and every table which mother of the bride had handmade. Tom & Liz used a travel theme for their seating plan, each table named after a place important to them. Before heading inside the barn for the wedding breakfast the newlyweds walked through a tunnel of bubbles. Once everybody was seated for the meal it was time for the speeches, the Father of the Bride, Groom and Best Man each said a speech and all were filled with lots of emotion - especially laughter, lots and lots of laughter! Evening celebrations started with sparklers for each and every guest to enjoy and have some fun, then the cutting of the cake took place. The Barn was filled with each and every guest as they circled the dance floor ready for the first dance, Tom and Liz took to the dance floor for their first dance which was a special routine. Soon after they were joined by family and friends to dance the night away!
