Daniels, entering the college football transfer portal and transferring to what will be his fourth school. I will give my thoughts on the impact it will have on the Mountaineer program. J.T. Daniels is a former 5-star recruit out of California who played his first two seasons of college football for the USC Trojans. After a torn ACL derailed his sophomore season, he transferred to Georgia to play for the Bulldogs. After another series of injures, he lost his starting job to Stetson Bennett. After the 2021 season, he decided to utilize his graduate transfer option and play for the West Virginia Mountaineers. With the 2022 season not going as planned, and losing his starting job to Garrett Greene, Daniels has reportedly once again decided to enter the portal.
