Lunala is available in Legendary Raid for the first time in July of Season: Delightful Days. Similar to Solgaleo, while Moongeist Beam was first intoduced as Lunala's exclusive move in Pokemon Sun/Moon, it cannot learn the move in Pokemon GO. Instead, the move can only be learnt by Dawn Wings Necrozma when Necrozma is fusing with Lunala. Without its exclusive move, Lunala does not serve any purpose in raid battle other than being a requirement of Necrozma fusion. However, with a slightly different moveset from Dawn Wings Necrozma, Lunala would find itself a spot in Master League of Go Battle League, just like Solgaleo. Lunala is a Psychic/Ghost type Pokemon, which is double weak against Ghost/Dark type moves. Interestingly, Lunala has no single weakness but only double weaknesses to those types. As a raid boss, Lunala has 213 attack and 162 defense stat, which is the same as Solgaleo. Lunala as a raid boss learns Air Slash/Confusion/Shadow Claw as fast moves and Moonblast/Future Sight/Shadow Ball/Psychic as charged moves. Lunala is a relatively weak boss due to its double weaknesses. It can be defeated as Solo Raid by Dawn Wings Necrozma, Mega Tyranitar, Shadow Tyranitar, Mega Absol, Mega Gengar and Shadow Gengar even without weather boost. This time, Dawn Wings Necrozma will challenge Lunala as a Solo Raid without weather boost. While there is no limit on the number of Dawn Wings Necrozma you can own at a time, only one of them will take the challenge this time. Since it is a recycling raid, Dawn Wings Necrozma would prefer a Lunala with less threatening moveset. Confusion/Future Sight would be the most preferable moveset for it. Overall, it is a fairly comfortable Solo Raid despite having only one Dawn Wings Necrozma participated. With some dodging to avoid energy overflows, Dawn Wings Necrozma has defeated Lunala with 15 seconds left after 5 rejoins. Pokémon used: CP 4624 Dawn Wings Necrozma - Lv50 15/14/15 Shadow Claw/Moongeist Beam
