The Green Transfer is a dynamic street-facing façade, designed from an array of recycled road signs. Part of the 1200 Buildings project, it is the winning artwork of 11 proposals for a sustainability-themed public artwork, commissioned by the City of Melbourne in partnership with Positive Energy Places and Fort Knox Self Storage. Each day the artwork displays an image which reflects the environmental performance of the Positive Energy Places building. These images centre around energy efficiency, reducing our environmental footprint and the impact of climate change.
