Dr. Bilal S. Mohydin is a professor of Cardiology and the current Executive Director of Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Lahore, Pakistan – a hospital that provides Primary Angiography and Angioplasty services 24 hours x 365 days. Dr. Mohydin’s main area of interest is complex coronary angioplasty & CTO. In an effort to support his local community he maintains a pro bono clinic in rural Lahore. Dr. Bilal has multiple publications and presentations to his credit at various local and international forums. He’s also put in continuous effort towards preventive cardiology & conducts regular workshops for non-health providers. Since 2012, he’s been the convener of PIC Heart Talk - a dedicated cardiology conference covering all aspects of cardiology with special interest in imaging & intervention. At MM Talks, Dr. Mohydin discusses the importance of keeping the health of our heart in check. He adds that the heart is the most important muscle in our body because it pumps blood and oxygen to all of our organs. When it doesn’t get the care it needs, serious problems can develop.
