Scriabin Etude, Op.8 No.12 (First and Second Versions)

Recently found out there is an alternate version to one of Scriabin's most popular etude, which was written in 1894 as well (same time as the rest of the set). The alternate version is quite different in many places (pretty much the entire development section up until the return point as well as most of the coda), and it is not as intense as the published version (more reminiscent and restrained).
