2d side scrolling action adventure games have been around for decades now but their origins can be traced back to the 8 bit era of consoles and computers. Sacred Armour of Antiriad AKA Rad Warrior in North America was ported to the ZX Spectrum, the C64 and the Amstrad CPC. Games of Praise Episode 4 elected to play this very challenging title after a poll was issued after Episode 3.
