Homily for 26 Sunday in Ordinary Time C. Generosity.

Homily for 26 Sunday in Ordinary Time C. Generosity.

In this Sunday’s Gospel, we are reminded of the rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19–31). Jesus teaches us that true discipleship is not measured by wealth, status, or comfort, but by how we use what we have to love others. Generosity is not about giving only from our abundance—it is about opening our hearts, seeing the needs around us, and responding with compassion. In this homily, we reflect on:- The danger of indifference to the suffering of others- How generosity draws us closer to God- Ways we can live a spirit of sharing in our daily lives May this message inspire us to live with greater mercy, kindness, and openness to those in need. 📖 Readings: Amos 6:1, 4–7 | 1 Timothy 6:11–16 | Luke 16:19–31 If you find this reflection helpful, please like, share, and subscribe to help spread God’s Word. #CatholicHomily #SundayGospel #Generosity #26thSunday #OrdinaryTime #YearC #ireneuszczech, https://www.amazon.com/author/irek_sds
