Christmas Day Special: 40 year old buys a Meta Quest 2 VR Headset, unboxing.

Trying something different, mainly a video where I talk to the viewers. I tried being on camera but that wasn't working. In this video I am unboxing a Meta Quest 2 Virtual Reality Headset. I have had my eye on it ever since it first came out, but never could justify the purchase. Ever since I was a kid I've played video games. I was never a serious gamer but I did enjoy playing different video games. As a teenager I remember seeing VR in arcades, advertised as a separate gaming experience, it was usually large simulator machines with a hefty cost to try and I could never afford to try it. As an adult I all but dismissed the idea of VR because they needed powerful (and expensive) computers. But eventually the Oculus Quest and then Quest 2 came out, but as an adult nearing 40, I couldn't justify the purchase, not when I had other responsibilities. I've since turned 40 and realized I should just take the leap and try it. If I don't like it I can always return it, but if I do like it, well maybe I can do more with it than just entertain myself. So this video is just the unboxing and quick view of the product itself. If there is an interest in this, then I will make more videos of what the actual experience is like, what is available for it and my overall opinion as a 40 year old who used to play video games but never experienced Virtual Reality before.
