Doom: The Dark Ages Part 14 - The BFC And Is That Cthulhu?? We hop back on our dragon, and head to the next landing zone, where we pick up yet another shield rune, called heaven splitter. We continue on to the final switch, then to the final landing zone where we will find out what's in the giant fleshy tomb. We land at a tower that leads us to the ultimate super weapon. A crossbow. But not just any crossbow, this is the BFC, or Ballistic Force Crossbow, and yes, it's just like the BFG from previous games. It annihilates demons in an instant, big or small, and we get to test it out with plenty of shots available. We make our way to the big tower we just exposed by destroying the fleshy tomb, and begin climbing until we are face to face with a familiar eldritch horror. We believe we're looking at the face of Cthulhu the legendary giant winged squid faced monster. We are surprised to say the least, but carry on until we reach the top and destroy the chains housing the beast. He flies off, and we hitch a ride on him with our shield, and enter the nether realm so we may locate our friend and bring her back. We will explore this zone, next time.
