Police kill man pointing military-style rifle at drivers in Tarpon Springs

A man pointing a "military-style rifle" at drivers in Tarpon Springs was shot and killed by police on Saturday night. It happened shortly before 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Pinellas Avenue and Tarpon Avenue. According to the Tarpon Springs Police Department, responding officers shot the suspect several times after they say he pointed the gun at them and several occupied cars.
