Cleaning the sensors Try this fix before looking for a “handyman”: This “repair” applies to Electrolux or related dishwashers, but I’m almost sure it works for all dishwashers. It’s about the “Overflow sensor (Anti-Flood device had been activated)”. What’s happening? The wash cicle is stopped, the empty pump is running and you hear beeps and see LEDs flashing. What’s wrong? The water level sensor gets clogged, it doens’t stop the water, the extra water flows through a pipe in a tray under the dishwasher, where it activates the Overflow sensor that stops the water supply and turns on the empty pump.
